My name is Stephen, came with my wife from HK.  Had joined Joy Holiday’s RY7 – Yellow Stone National Park & Mt. Rushmore tour departed on 24 Sep, 2011.   We got a very pleasant journey in this trip.  Not only that the weathers are fine – sunny all through the seven days; sceneries are extremely attractive, but more importantly we had an extremely excellent tour guide – Miss GUO Lankun. She spoke very fluent Mandarin and English which can satisfy the needs of The Chinese and several foreigners in the tour. Lan Kun has very professional knowledge and attitude, explaining every scene to us very detailed with their historical background. 

Moreover, need to speak about the driver – Quincy Bell. He was very polite, friendly and professional in his job.

My family of 4 joined this tour on Aug 6. Our tour guide was James and the driver was Cathy. I have to agree with all the comments from the previous posts. Honestly, for the first 5 days, we spent somewhere between 10 to 13 hours in the bus each day. It was not the most comfortable environment. However, James was working extremely hard to give us all the site related information and crack a few jokes from time to time. Whenever possible, he let us off the bus to stretch. This made a world of difference. Cathy's driving skill was also excellent, she got us safely home as well as a smooth ride all the way.
 

This is a feed back to the tour guide "David". I am a filipino, I don't understand chinese at all, but I recieved David's instructions nicely and clearly. His service was excellent and so with his driver Quincy. I was in a group of five. Seven days trip. From 8/6/11 thru 8/12/11. I would like to travel again with David and Quincy.
 

Our group came back from the yellowstone trip last Sunday, and we had a blast. I must say the tour guide Harry was exceptional, our bus was spacious and luxury, and his tour planning was on the money.

My wife and I went on a 7 days bus-tour of the American Southwest from May 14 through May 20, 2011.

We received excellent services from tour-guide James Li in terms of hotel arrangements, recommendations for restaurants, time zone changes, weather reports, and other details of the trip.
Mr. Li was very knowledgeable of every spot that we visited.  He explained the historical background of every spot in 3 languages.  First in Chinese Mandarin, second in English, and third in Chinese Mandarin.  He was courteous, and tried to get acquainted with each of the 50 guests on the bus.

We also received courteous services from bus-driver Quincy Jones.  Mr. Jones was an exceptionally safe and experienced driver.  He got off the bus, and stood by the door, every time we got on and off the bus.  He smiled and exchanged pleasantries with each guest whenever he could.  At the end of each day, he took the luggage off the bus and arranged them in such order that the guests can retrieve them easily.

James Li and Quincy Jones are credits to your company.

My wife and I are planning another bus-tour with your company in the near future.

 I went on this tour and it was awesome. The tour guide Harry was great and fun. We enjoyed a lot. The only issue we faced was meal stops. They always stopped at chinese or fast food places. Other than that, everything was good.

I have joined many tours (either in US or other countries), James is the best tour guide I ever met! The young driver Kevin is also a very nice and decent driver. Hello, this is a commendation letter for James Lee, our tour guide for the SW tour he hosted between November 20 - 26 last month.

We want to thank James for his excellent customer service attitude and his taking care of the tourists faithful during the whole trip.  He had gone extra miles to make sure that we were comfortable and got the most out of the trip despite some cold weather.

Just to list a few things that James is different than what we've experienced from the past tour guides: 
1.  James is easy going, very knowledgeable but not boastful.  He is always truthful of what he promises and deliver the promises.
2.  He offers us convenience of buying bottled water from him for a nominal fee.  He is super considerate.
3.  He offers to exchange rooms with any one who feels uncomfortable with his/her room.
4.  His keeps the same pleasant, professional attitude before and after collecting the tips.
5.  His communication skills are excellent.  And he repeats as needed to make sure every one gets it.
6.  He takes some good pictures for us and every one who asks, even though it's sub-zero temperature!

Over all, we appreciate having a nice tour guide like James and regard him as one of the best tour guides we've met by far.  We heard similar comments from the other couple.  I hope he gets the next raise or promotion as he definitely deserves it.

I was glad to join the tour with my daughter (12 years old)  and two nephews (10 & 16 years old) on July 24, 2010 to Mount Rushmore &  Yellowstone.  We really enjoyed ourselves.  Our tour guide named David Cao and the driver was Quincy (not crazy!).  There was no doubt about their professional knowledge and attitude.  They were so polite, patience, humorous and extremely helpful.  During the trip, David explained every scene to us with Mandarin and English.  When our tour bus entered Wyoming from Utah, David played Indian music for us and told us the story about the war between American Indian and whites.  We felt like we were in an Indian movie.  Also, I  remembered one night when we entered to our hotel room, my little nephew couldn't find his camera.  I called David for help.  David told me that someone found it on the bus and gave it to him for safe keeping.  How happy the little boy was when he heard the camera was found!  We shot a lot of pictures during the trip.

Finally, I want to thank you for making this trip so memorable.  I certainly will come back and recommend your company to our friends.

During the 4th of July holiday, we participated in Joy holiday's 7days (7/3--7/9) Yellowstone& Mt. Rushmore bus tour trip, that was a fantastic experience, and  we were so impressed by the quality demonstrated..........
The entire trip, was fun, educational, and joyful. We not only enjoyed the amazing          scenery and sightseeing, but we also discovered the treasures, the spirit, the beauty of the nature.........We felt we have been recharged and refreshed............ Our tour guide David Cao, he is excellent, efficient, knowledgeable, and entertaining....... All of our group from age 7 to age 86 were really pleased with him.   Our driver, Mr. Wu with his professional driving skill which made the trip safe, smooth and comfortable. My parents and I joined your 2-day Yosemite tour on 7/24 – 7/25/2010.  Thanks to Jason and Harry, we had a safe trip and fun at the same time.  Mostly here we’d like to thank our tour guide, Jason, for his extra effort to make our experience more comfortable.  When knowing that we’d have had to take bus to reach the pick-up point at Milpitas Square, Jason offered to pick us up at home so that we could be there on time.  On the way back, he could have dropped us off at Milpitas Square as he supposed to; instead he drove us back home after dropping off the folks in Fremont.  We really appreciated his extra effort which we’d never seen from any tour guides when we joined other tours.  Thank you very much!

James, your leadership set the tone of the whole trip. You managed to inform our truly international group in three languages specially when it comes to safety, history, and housekeeping such as lateness, rest and bathroom stops and meals. Your honesty, sense of humor, willingness to adapt to all the needs of the customers, your passion for history and gentleness with generosity is deeply appreciated.
Louis, not only did you drive with confidence paying attention to our safety, but you all entertained us with your piano playing, singing and we appreciate your making sure our luggages were taken cared of and that we come down safely from the bus. Both of you, had such a great attitude of welcome, fun and always making us feel safe, taken cared of and giving us all the opportunity to make up our minds and share in the decision making of some stops. The cleanliness of the bus, the entertainment, shows and movies, the karaoke, the mutual respect amongst the passengers, and the timeliness of the trip allowed all to have a dim sum quality to our whole trip...full of variety, satisfying and well worth it.
The trip was special because of all your efforts and we would like your company to know that they have gems in the two of you. This is the 3rd time I attended the tour from JH, however, this is the very first time that motivated myself to write some feedback to share with everyone.
I just came back from Grand Circle GC7 tour (Jul 19 to Jul 25, 2008). I had wonderful time with my group and our tour guide James Li. Tour guide is the key to the success of a trip. James outlined the whole trip in the very first day. Of course, we have no idea what he’s talking about in the beginning. He sincerely responded to any kind of requests from us; it made us feel that our need has been taken care of. These nature wonders are located mostly in the Utah and Arizona. The weather is very hot during this time of the year. James carried bottle waters and resell to us $1 for 4. I’v never seen this type of services throughout my entire tour trips(10 yrs). We usually buy the expensive bottle water from stop to stop.
Following are the highlight of our tour guide …
outline every things carefully;
respond to our needs/questions spontaneously;
full knowledge of each journey;
personally lead the group to the trail (small or large);
involvement - James is always around (guiding, dining, sightseeing, photographing);
James likes his job and he has right characters for his job;
James has passion to his job and his clients;
James cares about his customers.

I recently went on the seven day trip to Yellowstone Park and Mount Rushmore. I am pleased to say I had a great time. Our tour guide, James Li, was great at teaching us about our destinations and especially good at making us smile with his great sense of humor. It was amazing to see him translate his speech from Mandarin to English and also to the occasional Cantonese.
In the past tours I've taken with other tour companies, the tour bus would be such a bore. During this trip, James and Henry, our bus driver, made the trip exciting with their late policy. If you were late and the last one to get on the bus, you would sing in front of everyone. Everyone was joyful and clapping. It was such a warm environment.
The last day was full of great memories as each member of the tour gave a small speech about their experience during the past week or sang a song. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable, Henry, James, and everyone else on the bus! This trip was definitely a success. I cannot wait to see what you have to offer in your upcoming tours! This really was a Joy Holiday!

We who went on a tour to Mount Rushmore, Yellow Stone Park, etc on September 22 throught September 29, 2007 are so glad to have gone on his trip particularly because of your guide, James Li who made our time soooo pleasant and happy. We all (and I cane confidently state on behalf all who participated) that his knowledge of all places, hotels, locations, routes even prices, timings, punctuality, his true advised, his eagerness to show everything even those not originally included in the itinerary, his sense of light humor and music, his narration both in Chinese as well as in English, his cool in the face of severe provocation enchanted us all. He had been a wonderful guide and also he became an unforgettable friend. He looked after each on individually and always with abundant smile. We feel that we were lucky to haven detailed James on this tour.
His sprite of entertainment sometimes by joke and often sons to be sung but the participants and a few times himself both in Chinese, English and a line or two in Hindi kept us happy an laughing. We will certainly remember this trip for a long long time but we will surely remember James as well. Since our arrival back here we have been telling our friends all I have written in this mail. We would be very thankful to your company if you detail only James on our future trips. We all came closer to each other even to Chinese during this week and in fact closer to among ourselves even. I must express that many of the above apply to the Driver, Richard who was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. It also ”behaved” well all through, thanks to its maintenance by your company. In short each each every aspect of this tour was “goooooood”. This mail is becoming too long and I end it here thought I wish to write a lot more.

I have to bring up our tour Conductor Harry, he is very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. Especially, I like to give the credit to Mr.Louis Wong. His attitude was very nice. He helping to push the wheelchair for an eight months pregnant women and baby sister 3 tots, he rather take the suffering himself and comfort to others. He is very sincere and humbler person. I’m glad Joy Holiday had such super nice employee he deserve a reward for what I saw he been done. I will highly recommend anyone to Joy Holiday. The staff are very professional we were under safety driver and made the trip very enjoyable. Over all has an excellent experience.
