Day 1 Hometown -- Chicago

Day 2 Chicago
Chicago is the most important transportation hub, the third metropolitan in the US. Visit United Center, where there’s a statue of Michael Jordan. Buckingham Fountain is the most famous landmark in Chicago; it used to be the largest sculpture fountain in the world. Millennium Park is a music theme park; the installation art – Cloud Gate was made by stainless steel. It’s popular with tourists as a photo-taking spot for its unique reflective properties. Sears Tower used to be the highest skyscraper in the world for twenty years; it takes only 55 seconds to 103th floor by elevator. Later, visit Navy Pier, it used to be the place where the navy were trained. Next, visit Chicago Water Tower, saved from the Chicago fire, it is the second oldest water tower in the world. Its Gothic style exterior makes it look like a miniature castle. Comparable to New York’s Fifth Avenue and the Champs Elysees in Paris, lots of luxury brands can be found in the Magnificent Mile.

Day 3 Chicago -- Springfield -- St. Louis
Visit the Capitol of Illinois – Springfield. Former US President – Abraham Lincoln had lived here for more than twenty years. Visit the law office, Lincoln Library, Lincoln Museum, and his former residence; it is now one of the National Historic Sites. Later on, visit the Greek style Old State Capitol and also Union Station. The station is remodeled as shopping street now. There’s a railway museum inside the station, providing more history of the station. Leave Illinois and head to St. Louis, Missouri. Later on, visit St. Louis Gateway Arch. It was built by stainless steel; you can take elevator to the top, overlook the whole city clearly. Below the arch is the Museum of Westward Expansion, telling the history between white people and the Indians during the developing time. Take cruise exploring Mississippi River; the river is comparable with Rio Amazon, Nile, and Yangtze River. Visit Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis and Old Courthouse. A slave Dred Scott was sued for his freedom, this courthouse ruled against the accuser. This decision caused the American Civil War indirectly.

Day 4 St. Louis -- Memphis
Heading to the second largest city of East Coast: Memphis, Tennessee. Memphis has the busiest cargo airport in the world; the headquarter of Fedex locates in this city. Visit Pyramid Arena, it is a modern architecture built by stainless steel and glass. Elvis Presley recorded his first song in the Sun Studio, where you can see the microphone used by Elvis, his music video … etc. Also visit Elvis’s former residence, the king of rock. Display photos and items used by Elvis Presley. Later on, you can join the city tour(optional) combined with blue and rock and roll music.

Day 5 Memphis -- Jackson -- Baton Rouge
Visit Mississippi River Museum at Mud Land; exploring the history of Mississippi River here. Later, arrive at Baton Rouge, the capitol of Indiana. Visit the castle-like Old State Capitol and view the Italian Renaissance style architecture of Louisiana State University. Also visit Louisiana State Capitol, which is the tallest state capitol in the US.

Day 6 Baton Rouge -- New Orleans
Take air boat swamp tour; enter the Amazon rain forest-like swamp. Get a chance to get closer to the nature and wild animals and birds. Later, head to Oak Alley Plantation, a Southern farm style garden. The oak tree tunnel was planted in 17th century, which is 240 meters long. There have been many movies and tv shows shooting here. Leave Baton Rouge and head to New Orleans, it played an important role of the development of jazz music.

Day 7 New Orleans -- Montgomery -- Atlanta
Take a walk in the French Quarter, the oldest and most famous block in New Orleans; it is also a national historic district. From the crowded tourists, you can tell how attractive the French Quarter is. The most famous streets are Bourbon Street and Royal Street; you can see many street performers, special restaurants, bars, and antique shops on the streets. One of the oldest churches in the US - The St. Louis Cathedral on Jackson Square is also a must-see attraction. Leave for Montgomery, Alabama. Visit the former residence and memorial park of Martin Luther King, the US civil right leader, also the Nobel Peace Prize winner.

Day 8 Atlanta -- Asheville
Come to Atlanta, the business center, the largest city in South. Martin Luther King was also born here. Many transnational corporations set their headquarters here, including Delta Airlines, Holiday Inn… etc. Visit the Global Headquarters of CNN, take a look at the work site and get a glimpse of newsgathering and news production in action. Later on, visit World of Coca-cola, taste over 60 different beverages from around the globe; be amazed by their fully-functioning bottling line; see the world’s largest collection of Coke memorabilia. Later, visit Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Day 9 Ashville -- Great Smoky Mountain -- Nashville
Ashville is Henry Ford and other celebrities’ favorite resort city. Visit the largest mansion in the US – Biltmore Estate, built by the Vanderbilt family, and covered 8,000 acres, a total of 250 rooms. Later, leave for Great Smoky Mountain. There are over 900 million visitors each year; more than the total of Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Grand Canyon. The incredibly beautiful natural trails, and giant rock, forest, waterfalls, and wild animals all constitute the most-visited national park. Spend the night in Nashville, the friendliest city in the nation.

Day 10 Nashville -- Mammoth Cave -- Louisville
City of music – Nashville, visit the duplicated Parthenon temple and Athena, the whole construction is exactly the same as the original in Greek. Later on, leave for Mammoth Cave National Park; this is the longest cave in the world; it is estimated that there are over 900 km that has not been mined yet. Join Wild Cave Tour, enter the cave and feel the nature wonders. Spend the night in Louisville.

Day 11 Louisville -- Indianapolis -- Chicago
First stop at Kentucky Derby located in Churchill Downs. Because of the good pastures there, the horses are particularly outstanding. You can visit the previous championship records, horse rest area, and horse race course... etc. Leave for KFC Museum, being introduced about Colonel Harland Sanders, and KFC history. Later, visit Muhammad Ali center. Muhammad’s life and career have been introduced well here; expressing Ali’s idea of respect, hope and consideration. Head for Indianapolis, the capitol of Indiana. Visit Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum; the speedway was built for auto industry at the beginning, and it developed into a race game later. You can see the race cars that used to participate in games before. Spend the night in Chicago.
